Tuesday Nights

We will be reverting back to our ‘normal’ meeting times for Tuesday nights after London with Notices at 1920, run at 1930.

The first meeting to start at new times will be 27th April.

Thursday Nights

We will be starting our usual Thursday night social running program after London – Watch this space.

The club will open its doors slightly earlier at 6:45 (quarter to seven), parish notices will be read out at 7 o’clock sharp and members will be encouraged to begin their session at 7:15. 

Hot drinks from the tea bar will be available after this for those members who wish to socalise.

This routine will start on the 16th of February, please try and be on time.

Unfortunately the Oh My Obelisk! race has been postponed due to the weather conditions and the possibility of more snow on Sunday.

It will now take place on Sunday 7th February 2010.

We apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience caused but am sure you will understand the reasons for taking this decision.

We would appreciate it if you could pass this message on to anyone else who you know had entered the race or may have been planning to come on the day.

We hope that you are able to join us on 7th February – please hang on to your race number, directions etc.

If for any reason you are unable to run on 7th then please let me know and I will arrange for a refund of your entry fee.

Tickets are £4 per head from any Committee Member.

The Colin Gibbs and Barry Skerton trophies will be awarded after the meal.

The drawer for two places in the London Marathon will take place on the evening too.  The draw is open to members who hold a current reject slip, please make sure you give them to fred before hand.

Members are invited to make a donation to St Lukes instead of exchanging christmas cards. Save the Planet!

St Lukes will hold three services at St Andrews in town on Tuesday 15 December at 1400, 1730 and 1930.

Club members are invited to meet at St Lukes in Turnchaple roughly an hour before the service and we run to the church carrying a replica olympic torch, although the Tamar Trotters usually support the 1730 service. 

After the 1400 and 1930 service we run back to the hospice for tea and mince pies. basically thats it. It’s a very easy pace with plenty of stops.

We like members to wear club shirts so people know its us.
